Terms and Conditions

As a user of this video platform, I agree to the following terms of use.  I will act and engage in a manner that is professional and courteous while on video with representatives from Employee Resources Credit Union. I shall not use language or gestures that are intended to harm, threaten, demean or that may otherwise be deemed inappropriate or abusive.  I understand using such actions can result in a ban from the video platform, restriction of credit union services or membership expulsion.

When using the video platform, I will be dressed in such a way that would be consistent with being present in a physical branch.  I shall not use the video platform while driving or operating other heavy machinery, and understand that all risks, injury and harm associated with doing so are NOT the responsibility of Employee Resources Credit Union.

I will use only a secure internet connection in a location where my privacy will be protected and any email address used.  My electronic devices will meet the minimum standards of Windows 10 and/or iOS 7 or later.  I will provide a secure account that cannot be accessed by others.  If multiple parties are involved in a transaction, the presence of all parties and signatures by all parties are required.

I understand that if I agree to these terms of use, and fail to meet the requirements described above, the representative I am speaking with may terminate the video session, and I will not be allowed to receive services from Employee Resources Credit Union through the video platform.  In the event that I do not meet these requirements, Employee Resources Credit Union, to the extent permitted by law, will not be liable for any resulting losses, claims, or damages.

I agree to indemnify Employee Resources Credit Union should it incur any costs or sustain any damages should I not meet these terms of use.  Employee Resources Credit Union will operate in good faith while evaluating potential violation of these terms of use but will not accept any liability from my failure to read, understand, or follow these terms.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT PROCEUDRES FOR OPENING A NEW ACCOUNT

To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents.

Electronic Account Disclosure

Please read this Electronic Account Disclosure (also referred to as Disclosure in this notice) thoroughly – This Disclosure contains important information about your legal rights. This Disclosure covers all of your accounts, products, and services with  Employee Resources Credit Union either currently or in the future, through Online Banking (whether accessed through a personal computer or mobile device.  This includes, but is not limited to, the following account, product, and service types: savings, checking, credit card, loan, mortgage, line of credit, insurance and others.

Certain laws and regulations require us to provide specific information to you in writing, which means you have a right to receive that information on paper. We may provide such information to you electronically if we first present this Electronic Account Disclosure and obtain your consent to receive the information electronically. Your consent will also apply to any other person named on your account, product or service, subject to applicable law. Since certain of our accounts, products or services are provided online and use electronic means to deliver some of this information, you must consent to this Disclosure in order to use these services.  At times, we may still send you paper communications, but as a basic proposition we need to know that you are willing to receive communications electronically that we may otherwise be required to provide on paper and that you have the hardware and software needed to access to this information.

You understand and agree that we may provide to you in electronic format only, such as by posting the information on the website where you access your accounts, products or services, through e-mail (if applicable and if you have provided a valid e-mail address), or through other electronic means, agreements, disclosures, notices, and other information and communications regarding your accounts, services and products, the use of our website or our other electronic services, your relationship with us, and/or other programs, products or services that are or may be in the future made available to you.  Such Communications may include, but are not limited to:

  • This Electronic Account Disclosure and any updates;
  • The membership and account agreement;
  • Disclosures, agreements, notices and other information related to the opening or initiation of an account, product or service;
  • Periodic, annual, monthly or other statements, disclosures and notices relating to the maintenance or operation of an account, product or service;
  • Any notice or disclosure regarding an account, product or service fee, such as a late fee, an overdraft fee, returned insufficient deposit item, insufficient ACH per item presented, for any reason, such as insufficient funds fee or a fee as a result of a stop payment order;
  • Any notice of the addition of new terms and conditions or the deletion or amendment of existing terms and conditions applicable to accounts, products or services you obtain from us;
  • Our Privacy Notice and other privacy statements or notices (by posting such notices on our website) or;
  • Certain tax statements or notices that we are legally required to provide to you, such as the annual IRS interest statements.

After you consent to this Disclosure, you  will receive electronic format only for communications on your products, accounts and services with Employee Resources Credit Union.

Subject to applicable law, you may withdraw your consent to this Electronic Account Disclosure by calling us at (931) 766-9288 or writing to us at 2135 N. Locust Avenue, P.O. Box 987 Lawrenceburg, TN 38464. You will not be charged a fee for withdrawal of your consent.

For Online Banking, if you withdraw your consent to this Electronic Account Disclosure, we may stop providing you with communications electronically and we may terminate your Online Banking access.

For Online and Mobile Banking: 

You will need a computer or mobile device with internet access and browser, a compatible operating system, and/or a compatible Employee Resources Credit Union Mobile Banking app to access the Communications. While you may be able to access and retain the Communications using other hardware and software, we recommend that you use the latest version of the supported browsers or Mobile Banking app available, keep your security settings up to date.  Electronic devices must meet the minimum standards of Windows 10 and/or iOS 7 or later.

Applicable law or contracts sometimes require you to give us “written” notices. You must still provide these notices to us on paper. Your consent here does not relate to those notices.

You may print or make a copy of Communications by using the “Print” button (or otherwise using your printing functionality) or saving a copy. 

In the event that your e-mail address or other contact information is changed, you must notify us of such changes immediately through one of the following methods:

If you fail to update or change an incorrect or invalid e-mail address or other contact information, you understand and agree that any Communications shall nevertheless be deemed to have been provided to you if they were made available to you in electronic form on our websites, e-mailed to the e-mail address we have for you in our records, or delivered through other electronic means.

We recommend that you print or download a copy of this Electronic Account Disclosure, (also referred to as Disclosure in this notice)the applicable membership and account agreement and all other communications to retain for your permanent records.
