Charted in 1964
Employee Resources Credit Union was originally chartered in March, 1964 as Murray Ohio Savings Association Credit Union by seven charter members. These seven charter members had a vision of forming a convenient place for members to save and borrow money. Each member was required to pay an entrance fee of 25 cents and the unsecured loan limit could not exceed $200.00.
In September, 1995 the credit union changed its name to Murray Credit Union. In April, 1998 Murray Credit Union was given approval to add other employee groups to the field of membership. Our name changed again in October, 1998 from Murray Credit Union to our present name Employee Resources Credit Union.
In 1999 the board of directors of the credit union had a new vision and a new direction. They decided to build a new facility and expand our field of membership to include new groups. The building was completed and the move was made in July, 2000.
